Aaahhhh the sweet scent of Christmas!!!
Once the smell of an Evergreen Cypress tree
grown North of I-10
enters our door, all the scary storage closets,
tangled lights, sappy hands, prickly messes,
and dead ducks
become worth it !
I truly do love it!!!!
After making it out
ALIVE
from the Christmas storage closet,
life started to look a little brighter.
The head elf was
a great help in getting the crooked treeto stand straight.
(To get a perspective of how cute these little elves are...
the tree we bought this year was all of 4 feet tall.
This little guy had to get on a ladder and still couldn't reach the top.)
Isn't he adorable!!!!
The 1st Christmas Music jingling in our ears
+
a few family elves

SOMETHING THAT LOOKS A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS.....
Cozying up to the
1st fire of the season...
Never mind
the outside temp is in the 70's
with just a TAD bit of humidity.
We're going for atmosphere here...
what's a few degrees cooler on the thermostat .
And now for the finishing touch
to help tuck us into a nice long sugar-coated slumber
After watching the movie,
ELF ,
I realized that elves need a LOT of sugar to survive.
What better way to feed this cute little family of elves than
a Cajun Chocomellow S'more!
Plus....
we needed to cover up the thought of Sunday's trajic discovery
in the fireplace...
(read prior blog to understand....CLICK HERE )
CAJUN CHOCOMELLOW S'MORES
Gently place one block of Hershey bar
INTO
the marshmellow...
affectionately known around here as
a Chocomellow!
Then burn the newly formed Chocomellow
to a crisp...
just like a good Cajun mama would do!
And there it is...
The first Cajun Chocomellow S'more
of the season!!!
ALL GOOD THINGS COME FROM ABOVE!!!

How fun! 4-Ft Tall, huh? Hmmm ...
My Beau is quite a Scrooge about decorating. Looks like you had good help.
Smores + Elf = Fantasticism! (not really a word, but definitely a word to describe the two)
Is there anymore information you can give on this subject. It answers a lot of my questions but there is still more info I need. I will drop you an email if I can find it. Never mind I will just use the contact form. Hopefully you can help me further.
