CHOCOLATE BOUCHONS

My friends,
Stephen and Kim,
introduced me to a new chef....
Thomas Keller.

For some reason,
every time these cute little chocolate corks
popped out of their oven....

I would just happen to show up!

We laugh about the coincidental sniffer
I have for these little chocolate corks..

So, I decided to make them myself
and bless my sweet friends with a few this time....

I have to admit...

After reading the recipe,
I wish I could have remained ignorant
of its contents.
Ignorance truly is bliss
and
sometimes deadly....

This is literally
a slow death by chocolate....

unless you have a family history of heart disease
then it may not be as slow!!!

You do have to have

a special little Bouchon pan to make these ....

that's the one draw back.

Locals can borrow mine if you want to try it out.

So here's the link if you dare to try....
The only change is it's only
3/4 cup plus 2 TBSP of granulated sugar.

It truly is an unbelievable party
in the mouth
if you dare to go there.

Josephine's little pinkies
just rise right on up to heaven
when she has one of these!!!

Uummm uuummm
Good!!!
A super special occasion treat!

Sorry Cochon!
doubt you will be seeing
any scraps de Bouchon...
